I had the same situation. Couldn't find info on the web other than buying HOAT (GO-5) test strips from NAPA or truck dealers (somewhat expensive), so I shook up the jug, mixed a little 50-50 with distilled water in a glass, looked for cloudiness, tested the ph with a urine ph test strip (ph was 9 or 10), and put the AF in the car. was still okay after about 30K miles when hoses were replaced. No sign of corrosion and Ph was still above 7. Rule of thumb is Ph 7 to 11 is okay; 9 to 10.5 is ideal. Drug and big box stores have Ph test strips for about five dollars up (five dollars at Walmart). I don't think you can use "green AF" test strips for HOAT AF.

I have a couple of jugs of undiluted genuine MB coolant, but they are at
least 5, maybe close to 10 years old. Any reason not to use it?
