It does look like it would handle the grinder.

I don't know what the "Swiss" receptacle looks like, nor how it compares
to what the "Italian" receptacle looks like. They may be inter-compatable.

It does look like it would handle 1/3 HP, particularly since you won't be
running it for too long each time.

It does seem cheap. I don't know if you would have found anything like
this at the Black Hole, since most of the stuff there was from Laboratory
salvage.
