Well thats odd. Fueleconomy.gov gives the Passat a 1mpg edge. Both are 2l though, same engine?
I prefer a manual trans in general. I've driven Ford's version of the DSG and while I'm sure VW's is better its still just an automatic. Not sure I need any more space in a car and I surely don't need a bigger loan. -Curt Date: Thu, 2 May 2013 21:27:39 -0500 From: OK Don <okd...@gmail.com> To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Forgive me for I have sinned Message-ID: <CANZcij9Fb_pmdqmkjvpKwfJPfz4yNcJmejHruvJyh3=0e0e...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 If you go back, check out a Passat while you're there. It's a larger car, but gets better MPG than the Jetta. Drive a DSG tranny also - you might like it (I do). No, the VW is not a Mercedes replacement - the quality just isn't there, but still like mine and plan to keep it a long time. Go to the Mercedes dealer first, then the prices at the VW dealer will look like a bargain!!! -- OK Don 2013 F150 2012 Passat TDI DSG 1957 C182A _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
