Is there a workaround for the non-functioning vacuum pod that controls the center vents for the HVAC in my 84 D? I do not mind controlling this function with a wire or string. Any ideas?
You could pop the rivet loose (dental picks, etc.) that holds the arm to the flap, then use a a chopstick or the like to open/close the flap.
