They should have flown us both in. Back in the old days, the list
founders and high officials were always flown in. Of course they have
to start promoting it months in advance, make a big deal about how we
will be there, then they would have easily had over 100 people show up
from all over the country. Hell, I may have to resurrect the okieQ and
fly you in for the event.

I counted 9 cars including a turbo OM616 powered Chevy van. Buncha people
(more than 9 :) ) and a record number of dogs.
The secret food was my nearly famous dutch oven bbq, this year with
sausage (both sweet and hot) pork and chicken dry rubbed and then cooked
for 3 hours. Strangely nobody got a picture of that, you can get an idea

I did 2 pots, one for spicy and one for non. We also had burgers,
chowda, clamcakes, a world of fruit, veggies and pie for the finish.
I got the opportunity to drive John's Astro van (not a bad ride, it'd be
better if he turned up the IP to support the turbo and move the shifter),
Steve's immaculate '85 300D and Dimitri's 280SL. Parts were swapped, chowda
was consumed.
