Very high mileage for an M103 engine. Will almost surely need top end work if not now than soon. That will cost close to $3000 (could be as little as $1000 if you do everything except the machine shop work and most of the hard parts don't need to be replaced)!

A factory reman or new M103 WILL BE EXPENSIVE. A good used one will be much more modest, but finding one that won't soon or doesn't need top end work will be difficult.
