I bought a set of these for the Chicken Wagon. (Though I've yet to actually put them in.) This is the approach I took with the 450 SL. You get the improved lighting pattern and the ability to do the relay/laser thing, but the cosmetics remain unchanged. It's usually much cheaper than the Euro light assemblies, and in the case of the 107/116 (and the 123 if you're willing to do away with the fog lights) _better_ in that you retain the four-bulb configuration.
