Hi all,

I have an extra set of prechamber tools I don't need. They are 2 of
the 4 prototypes that the late Steve Foster designed, which were
produced by Bend's Teul machine shop. There was one small production
run, and I believe those are now all sold out. I tried to contact the
machinist recently and got no answer - dunno if his email changed, or
what. Anyway, here's a photo - these are "Made in USA" tools:

The slide hammer is the "heavy duty" version with the brass bushings -
pretty much identical to the final "HD" production version.
Performance Products sells a cheap Taiwan version for something
ridiculous like $169, but you can buy the equivalent Taiwan adapter on
eBay and provide your own slide hammer for more like $100 total, maybe
less. I'm asking $80 for my slide hammer WITH adapter, free shipping
in the 48 states. It's a REALLY nice unit - trust me. ;-)

The lock ring tool was the "heavy duty" prototype, but is different
than the final version - this prototype has shorter/smaller handles.
Note that this tool (and the final version) don't have hex flats to
allow torque wrench attachment. PP has the Taiwan version (with hex
flats) for $75 + S&H. I'm asking $40 for mine, free shipping.

Asking $110 for both ($10 discount), free shipping. The slide hammer
will remove all OM61x and OM60x prechambers though 1999 models. The
lock ring tool will work on all 61x/60x engines with vertical
prechambers and "notched" lock rings - most all diesels up to 1989,
with a few exceptions in the very late 80's. Engines with angled
injection (1990-99) need a "splined" lock ring tool, available from
Rusty for $40 or so.

Email me directly with questions... I'd just like to clean out my garage!

:-)
