It makes so much sense the goobers won't approve it. Gooberment=wasting your tax dollars in the most inefficient way possible Gooberment= buying votes with your tax dollars. Actually, the amtrak is the route of the Burlington (CB&Q) railroad California Zephyr. It is a great route, but not great for going to or from Des moines. The DM stop is Osceola, not Ottumwa. There are regular shuttles between DM and Osceola. It is actually no further than going from Denver airport to downtown denver. About the same time as going from Ohare to Chicago... If it is all city, beople don't grumble. If you see a field or a pasture in between, people grumble. >Ottumwa also proves why Amtrak is in trouble. Idiots at Amtrak might pick up some people if >the train stopped in the BIGGEST CITY IN THE STATE. >Figure if theres one spot that stupid there have to be a hundred... >-Curt > _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com All posts are the result of individual contributors and as such, those individuals are responsible for the content of the post.
