So I've driven the car now for 250 miles with blocked open tstat and no overheating. I'm noticing that the cooling system is pressurized in the mornings. This morning I noticed that the upper and lower radiator hoses were moderately swollen, and there was a puff of air when I removed radiator cap. There was some leakage of coolant from the thermostat housing cover sealed by a rubber o ring which I have not yet replaced. Perhaps coolant leaking because system pressurized? I'm considering taking car to radiator shop to have system pressure tested. Sent from my iPhone
