A 4matic with stability control might be wise for the replacement.
Glad she is okay.
I've been wondering about ESP lately.
If you put it to work, the brakes wear out, and does it just let you go faster
before you lose control?
If you can manage to not up the speed when driving with ESP, it should be a big
help when things start to go wrong.
