Bad ujoint didn't develop in the shop. They screwed up the driveshaft. They have 30 some tries to get it right, IF they are systematic, and mark the shaft halves before they start changing splines.

They took the driveshaft apart at the splines, and put it back together in different splines.
THAT IS A BIG MIStAKE on MB driveshats.

Alternately, they can buy you a new driveshaft or send your of to one of the few shops in the country who balance MB Briveshafts.

You can also read Jim Cathey's story about his home built driveshaft lathe and how he balanced a shaft that was screwed up.

You may also have a bad u-joint
