When I switched email from 1&1, the folks at SWCP were wary that 1&1 would play games. They had me log on to the system, change my settings so changes could be made, and then give them the password so they could do everything that was needed. 1&1 found out about my changing when the domain name records were updated -- they never saw it coming.
