are you talking about a spin on metal fuel filter? If so they last virtually forever. A paper filter will last as long unless exposed to high levels of moisture for long periods.

Hi, Just finished replacing the fuel pump on our 1987 190E. While things are better, they still aren't right. The car won't idle but will run around 1500 rpm+. Since this whole thing started when I replaced the fuel filter, I was wondering if they are ever bad or if they have a shelf life. The one I used was a Bosch that I think is 2-3 years old. Thanks, Richard ___________________________________________________ To post, send an email to: merce...@mercedeslist.com To unsubscribe, change options, request password reminder, search the list archives, or access other MB-related resources, visit our website: http://mercedeslist.com To contact the list owner and administrators: adm...@mercedeslist.com ___________________________________________________ _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
