Yes, but GPs can easily be diagnosed without pulling, so why would you pull
one and then return it?
I read that letting the engine warm before attempting makes this a safer
operation.

The sprinter folks have a problem with glow plugs getting stuck in the heads
. maybe aluminum heads?

So i think the rule is if you can get a glow plug OUT replace it.

I read a sprinter list and there seems to be no end of complicated problems
with those vehicles.
