I'd like to have the engine, but not for another 6-12 months... If it cannot be driven, you have no idea what it is worth other than the scrap weight. Suspension, air conditioning, transmission, differential, engine; all are suspect and could be bad, not to mention brakes, radiator, tires, battery. Also, this engine is notorious for glow plugs breaking off in the head, requiring head removal to fix in some cases.
