Harbor Freight sockets are actually very good and very cheap. The only thing I 
dislike is that they are generally laser etched for size but they're cheap 
enough so when the etching is rusted off its just time to buy new ones.
I've never broken one, or had it not fit correctly. I have I think 6 sets now...

Some things are best purchased from Mac or Snap On believe it or not. Sockets 
would be a good example. Snappy's "patented technology" is called "Flank-Drive" 
I think, and it works quite well.
