Mao, What was in the tank? Heating oil, septic?
If it was heating oil, likely the EPA rules apply for decommission and removal. Which translates to $$$$. Septic, typical rule is crush the top, collapse the sides to a certain depth below grade and write it as done. Your local rules may be different.
