Curly, Mark didn't say whether I had too much or too little vac. With no vacuum to the transmission modulator, it shifts good. So that would seem like too much vacuum when connected. Kaleb, the 116 does have the linkage rod, but it also has the vacuum line from the modulator valve on top of the IP to the tranny modulator valve on the passenger side of the tranny. So, there is vacuum involved in the shifting. I just don't remember the exact purpose of the linkage rod. Thanks guys, Roger Roger Hale Dinnerware Classics, Inc.
