Hi, All.
My experience with the Mustang replacement O2 sensor in my '85 190E was excellent. I took a plug /socket from a car in the J/Y and fabricated an adapter, which I placed inside the passenger seat area under the rug. ( Where the MBZ connector resides.) After having the fuel distributor adjustment trimmed by my mechanic it met the 2004 smog specs. for Mass. and gave me a solid 25mpg. It did idle a little lean though it ran very well until the tin worm ate too much of it. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Herr Dr Marshall for the clues needed. Thank You. That man does more to clue-in the totally clueless (me!) than any of a 1000 other people.
