Yep; '91 350SDL (126); timing chain broke at 79 kmi; new chain and buncha stuff. Then I drove it another ~125-130 kmi (don't remember 'zackly) 'til engine crapped out again.

I doubt it if it's actually a 1994.
Wilton's car with the bad timing chain was a W126 I think.
There might have been a few 1992 W140s with the bad chains.

I'm thinking it might be interesting to put a 1999 24v turbo
and 5sp electronic trans from a W210 in it, but I bet there'd
be some interesting computer work involved to make it run and
shift properly.
