I still have a couple of Picketts from back in the day. The first
calculators I used were huge things with gears and levers needed for my
statistics classes. Later I had an electronic brick with lit up numbers.

I used the Pickett aluminum 803 ES XL (??) back in HS, about 30 years
before the start of the Dark Ages.  We also called them Slip Sticks and had
a dorky holster, the polar opposite of "babe magnet"
