Thanks for the reminder about RAM on eBay. My HP XW8600 has 10GB right now, I'd
looked on Crucial but they wanted big $$ to upgrade so I'd held back. EBay has
16GB for 1/4 what Crucial wanted with a 1 year warranty.

The 1,1 will take up to 32Gb ram, so he should max it out. Look on fleabay for
some at dirt prices. I scored 16gb for $21. Has to be FB ECC. HP servers ran
it, and I am thinking those servers are being retired about now.
