Guy I sold my Mac Pro was calling my land line and emailing me last night. Ugh.
"I can't install software! If I try to, the computer keeps rebooting!" Me via my burner email account: What kind of software? What version? How are you installing? Late last night: "Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Version doesn't matter, it just keeps rebooting!" Me: Look at Adobe support site this morning. Loads and loads of warnings, reports, etc., of Adobe products not playing nice with El Capitan (Mac OS installed on the computer.) Adobe tells users to hold off until updates are developed or downgrade to previous OS for things to work. I email him the link to Adobe's support site with the warnings. Also send him links for installs of Yosemite and Mavericks (previous OS versions.) I'm done. I hate that people lie about due diligence when they buy stuff like this. I asked him several times what he would be running on the machine. "FinalCut Pro for my church." Maybe God can provide support for him.
