The solution to their many eco problems is to hike the taxes upon the population until we cease consuming. Fuel taxes were just hiked $0.18/gallon. Our current tax burden is the 3rd highest in the nation for fuel. The state charges, IIRC, $6/gal for spiritous liquor (20% sales $3.77/lt). $30 on a carton of smokes. Soda syrup is taxed $1/gallon to screw over soda fountains. Each fireplace in your home is $30, unless you put in NG. That has some steep rate per therm. We even tax THC at 38%. General Sales taxes come to 9-10% on non food items.
It does not pay to be a voting tax payer here.
