When I finally got all the suspension right on my first 124 300D, it is amazing. The is with standard suspension. The 300TD was always great, but the 300D with all new suspension is like a race car or sports car. It feels like it is on rails.
Next fall I will do the other one. I put the rear subframe mounts in right away, and that made it sit like it is new, but it still needs work.
Kinda neat to have 2 300Ds in the garage, side by side. I moved the SL to the third position.
