So I have this set of Pirelli P7s on my 98 e300 that have maybe 15-20k miles on them now. These are 70k mile tires. Still have plenty of tread. Friday driving back home we had a little light rain and the roads were wet. I had an occasion going around a curve at about 30 and the rear ended started to try and slide. Also was coming to a stop and abs started kicking in. These always had good traction even in a downpour. So it seems after 20k their traction has gone to hell. I went to far as to pull over and make sure I did not have a low tire in the back.
