I'm remembering we tried at least 3 different cassette machines and I think two different reel to reel and we had less than 50% success loading a program. Maybe closer to 25%. One brother gave up on it and would write a program from memory, use/play until the computer locked up, then type it in again because he found that less frustrating than the tapes.
