Curt, I didn't need to look at the links and I DO understand the concept of the combo units and trying to save you the initial vacuum step with a regular vacuum cleaner. My sole points are: use a regular vac first for the big stuff and then pour the water outside. Or go ahead and tear up stuff using a combo unit and pouring the results down the garbage disposal, it's everyone's choice. Just trying to make a reasonable suggestion...use it or not.
