My Becker 754 came this weekend and I rebuilt the wire harness to connect to the wires in the dash. The PnP parts had wires just a bit too short when the dude butchered them to get his aftermarket radio installed and left the hook ups … Anyway, I made it better.
When I went to install, the wires do not match the diagram. I followed the diagram as well as the wires that were originally attached to the connectors. Thankfully I have bundles of spare wires galore so I could rebuild a harness. The SD (Allen) does not have the same coloration of wires? What the heck do I connect to? The antenna/accessory wire is blue on both ends. The red wire is not in the dash, nor is there a grey/purple. I have a to pairs of wires. One brown and blue wires, the other black and brown. There is no anti theft wire, which leaves me unsure how to deal with that.
