I know from Gary telling me that he likes flying first class for
many reasons. First on First off, better treatment, more comfort,
better menu, less people crowding, seats recline further and yeah
because the seats are bigger.
I'm 5'6" 130-140# I enjoy a first class flight now and then. Every
now and then I just like being pampered. I make great sacrifices in
my work, as well as plenty $$$$. I occasionally take myself (all
alone) to a fine gourmet restaurant and have no reservations about
dropping $150-$200. I do treat my wife to the same degree of
pampering whenever the urge arises. She's frugal and will sometimes
complain.
Sometimes one must indulge in things like this. I see more sadness
and strife than perhaps one should expose oneself to but to escape to
a place where one is waited on hand and foot in the midst of all the
adversity is simply refreshing.
