I thought Arbeit translates to work -- forgot what might be learning though -- too long ago.
Then I thought perhaps I should look it up BEFORE posting this time, to reduce embarrasment, so: Arbeit (die) n. employment, work, occupation, Job, task, duty, assignment and learn v. lernen; erlernen; erfahren; merken; erkennen; aneignen BUT - that's probably a close enough translation of idioms, so I'm still wrong!
