All the better, as it’s far more likely to find me a nice one. This is a search for a really nice W124 non-turbo diesel, actually. I’m pretty sure I’m going to buy it, I just want someone to take a look at it for me before I send the guy his money and arrange for transport. If I score it you will be jealous, as it is very nice and I will get it for a Kleb price.
For what it’s worth, I’ve got a call on a nice finnie outside of Medford, OR scheduled in about an hour. Beautiful car but the seller wants far too much for it - it’s a 65 190c, probably one of the least desirable models there was. It’s very nice but grandpa totally hosed up the dash by making a “custom” wood dash for it.
