Couldn't it also be the turbo drain tube seals? losing a qt every 40 miles would indicate that it's high pressure oil loss or maybe even burning it although oil CONSUMPTION wasn't mentioned.

I'd bet money that it's oil cooler line or oil filter canister gasket
