If a tooth equals 18 degrees, is it true that the cam gear has 20 teeth for360 degrees?No, that would mean the crank sprocket has 20 teeth and the cam & IP have 40.One tooth equals 18 degrees at the crank, not at the cam.
Or some ratio. I don't think there's quite 40 teeth on the cam sprocket. But it could have 20 and the crank 10. (And I don't think either of these figures is right.) -- Jim
