Just got off the phone with the insurance adjuster. Looks like they’re going to settle the claim and write off the car as a total loss. I’ll end up with a few pennies short of $5,000.
Not bad considering I paid $6,000 for it two years ago. < sigh > I’m sort of bummed to see it go, but it did the job it was designed for, so I certainly can’t complain.
