I have yet to switch the car to synthetic. I changed the oil (put in Shell Rotella (sp?)) when I got it in July. Drove it 1500 miles before the end of Oct and changed it again before putting it to bed for the winter. Maybe I will change it to synthetic next fall before putting it away. I don't expect to put huge miles on it over a summer so should only need to change annually before storage.
