I disagree. Many people pay no attention to vehicles but many do notice too. I belonged to a business club for many years and could generally tell who had shown up for the meetings by what was in the parking lot when I got there. I don't think you need a new Cadillac but I do think you need to be in a decent looking vehicle and preferably a clean vehicle. Clients and other lawyers will look to see what Don  is driving and will treat him accordingly. If he wants to drive a beater back and forth on his commute, he should park the BMW somewhere near the office and swap cars on the way into town.

The same goes for Kaleb and his current issue with the damaged car. He needs to drive something that looks decent. The Benz was not new but it was a nice car and people would note that it was an MB. Much preferable to a domestic vehicle of similar vintage. A good looking classic car turns more heads than a new car most of the time.
