Just got back home after un-freezing the heating system in Salem. (4 family, Joanne's old home, built 1915 after the Great Salem Fire.)
When the baseboard heating was installed they, yes THEY, removed an interior roof drain leaving a void to an outside wall. System froze last night. (Sh*t). Put foam insulation on pipes and filled the hard to access void with foam. This bloody foam sticks to everything, fingers, coat, hat, pipes,the can itself, but the darn stuff will not stick to brick or wood without much encouragement, mostly verbal! Tea and crumpets time.
