An Oklahoma wildfire has burned over 120,000 acres, forcing hundreds of people to leave their homes. The fire has destroyed multiple homes near Woodward, but no injuries have been reported, said Woodward County Emergency Management Director Matt Lehenbauer. Another fire has burned over 21,000 acres near Leedey, about 40 miles from Woodward, according to the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management. Low humidity and strong winds will create dangerous fire conditions in the state through Saturday, the National Weather Service reports (Associated Press <https://apnews.com/7e4e361ca4ac4e7e8f517a3defc02b96/Wildfires-burn-homes,-force-evacuations-in-Oklahoma>, April 13). *— CS* _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
