Remove door skin.  See that both motor terminals have +12V on them
normally, measured to the door frame metal.  Use a test lamp, that puts a
load on it to make sure it's actually got current ability and not just
leakage.  One or the other terminal is grounded to make the motor go,
depending on direction.  If you don't have +12V, you have a problem.  99%
of the time it's dirty switches.
