Oh man, in New England (at least in MA or ME) no insurance is nearly a prison
offense.
I've gotten 2 tickets in 25 years of driving and the first was for an expired
insurance card. Not expired insurance mind you just the card was expired. The
cop would have let me go but for that.
I think it was an $80 ticket in 1995, doubled the cost of prom...
