We bought a new JD D130 when we bought this 1 1/4 acre lot in 2011. I've
had to replace the blades after trying to mower large rocks, and one
battery when I didn't trickle charge it over the winter, but that's all. I
do change the oil and air filters every year. I went with the 130 for the
v-twin engine, more torque and smoother. We bought is from the JD dealer at
the same price as the big box stores, but get free pick-up and delivery,
should we ever need it for repairs.
