I used an Autel Code Reader Diaglink (DIY Version of MD802). It uses the proprietary MB data that is available through the standard port, so provides a lot more than just a generic OBD2 scanner. It proved invaluable when checking out my ML, at a much lower cost than the type of system that Kaleb uses.
