The 320 6 cyl engines has ooodles of power in an E class for getting around.
Under pwered for the SL. Deb constantly drives the 1995 E320 wagon with the
104.992 engine like it's a NASCAR event. Car performs well. Took away her
driving priveledges in our 500SL.

Our 1991 500SL has good balance to power. If possible try to get the 1996
and later years that has ODB2. The stealership employees are becoming less
and less able and capable to work on the ODB1 systems reliably.

Stay away from the 600SL series unless you have deep pockets and a high
tolerance for pain.

And don't get me started on the 2000-2002 S-Class with cylinder shutoff.
Biodegradeable wiring is a blessing compared to these.
