Correct. And from 1998-up, the SL320 was not sold in the USA, only the SL500 and SL600. Overseas, the SL320 from approx 1999-up did indeed get the M112 6-cyl, but that was never sold in the USA.
The M104 engine in the SL320 is a DOHC, inline-6, 24-valve engine.
