Where is the ECM located? Can you put a bag of ice on it and see if it acts normally while it is cold?

It cuts out at random intervals when it warms up. Could idle for three hours with no trouble, could conk out after ten minutes. Also has sluggish performance from a standing start. Coil and ignition module replaced so far.
