I may have related this story previously. Cannot recall.
My father had the opposite happen to him. He pulled into a gas station with a truck with a small dozer on the back and asked them to fill both the truck and the dozer. He went into the store and when he went to pay for the gas the fellow said the dozer only took a very small amount. Dad knew it needed most of the tank so he asked the fellow to show him where he put the fuel. The fellow had filled the radiator with gasoline.
