Sorry Mitch, but I didn't tag you to this thread. I merely started it as somewhat sad and humorous regarding some of the topics that arise. Similar to the other list where they get off on topics like wine tasting, cheese favorites, etc. Sometimes you think you are on one of the cooking networks. I realize we are all getting older so there isn't a lot of MB work, etc. to discuss. As to me, my 80 and 83 and currently sitting for awhile. I will probably sell the 83 300D and at some point have some repairs made to the 80 300SD and put it back on the road.
As to deer, just a suggestion. I grew up and learned to drive "up North" and currently drive in the South. When learning up North, the main issue was to constantly scan the sides of the road, peripheral vision is a real benefit. Now I continue to do the same in the South.
