Aren't these the same? Mine is one piece.

I could just see it from the drivers footwell after removing the kick

So you could see the hole from the driver's footwell or from under the
hood
looking down?

Thanks Max. I found the leak and hopefully patched it up. It was behind
the front fender about midway from top to bottom and about a foot
forward
of the parking brake. I could just reach it from inside the car and
with
the fender bolts off I could patch it from the outside as well. It was
about The size of a silver dollar. (The old ones) We will see if I
fixed
it next time I go out in the rain and snow.

The driver drain location should be symmetrical with passenger side;
try
pushing your line through passenger side to detect exit point.
On a 124 car, the drain lines are black, rubber hose-like but with very
thin wall, and were easy to see once my piece of weed wacker line
pushed
through. I melted the end of the weed wacker line so it made a little
ball
to make it easier to push through.

I’m trying to locate the source of a water leak into the drivers side
footwell. Carpet is getting soaked on the left side below and forward
of
the emergency brake pedal.
I pushed a line from the forward sunroof drain and it popped out right
in
front of the upper door hinge.
Is this the normal exit for this drain or is it a rusted out hole?
I can’t see the actual exit because the hinge is blocking my view.
